Jammu And Kashmir police arrest main accused in Kulgam rape case

Srinagar: July 6 the main accused in the alleged rape case in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir has been arrested within a day of the crime. 

The police gave this information on Monday. A police spokesman said, police arrested the main accused of kidnapping and raping the girl in 24 hours in Kulgam.

The police has registered a case against three accused on charges of rape and the main accused was arrested in 24 hours. Two other accused are still absconding. The spokesman said, medical examination of the victim has been conducted. Investigation of the case is continuing.
